Zane Clodfelter is in his 13th season with the Evansville Otters as the team's public address announcer. An Evansville, Ind. native, Clodfelter graduated from Harrison High School in 2008 and received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Southern Indiana (USI) in 2013.

Since 2011, Clodfelter has served as the Otters’ public address announcer at Bosse Field and in 2017, he began an expanded role in managing the team’s social media accounts and website while working as the team's Communications Manager. In that role, he helped create the Otters Digital Network, a multi-camera streaming platform, for home games while also implementing new social media strategies.

He later served as the team's Media Relations Manager during the 2018 season.

In addition to his work with the Otters, Clodfelter currently serves as the USI men’s basketball public address announcer at Screaming Eagles Arena and University of Evansville (UE) women's basketball public address announcer at Meeks Family Fieldhouse, along with public address work for USI baseball and UE soccer and baseball.

Clodfelter has also done public address announcing work for the NCAA at the Division II Elite Eight five times–most recently this past spring and was a halftime host for Learfield broadcasts of UE men’s basketball during the 2022-23 season.

He can also be heard and seen on Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) broadcasts on ESPN+, covering college basketball, baseball and softball for the direct-to-consumer platform.

He got his start in public address announcing as a freshman in college, announcing football, basketball and baseball games for his high school alma mater, Harrison. Clodfelter has been the senior sports editor at the Spencer County Journal-Democrat in Rockport, Ind. since 2014 and a contributing editor for Paxton Media Group newspapers since 2023. Clodfelter has also been a licensed IHSAA basketball official since 2008.
