HITTING COACH

Zarewicz enters his second season as the hitting coach within Andy McCauley's coaching staff. He joined Evansville after three seasons on the coaching staff with the Lincoln Saltdogs (American Association). Zarewicz works mostly with the position players, helping to lead batting practice and fielding practices.

“First, I would like to thank Andy McCauley and the Evansville Otters for the opportunity to join such a historic ball club,” Zarewicz said. “I am extremely grateful and very excited for the chance to make a positive impact on the team and within the Evansville community. Go Otters!”

After completing his collegiate careeer at Bethany College (WV), Zarewicz played four seasons of profssional baseball in the Pecos League from 2016 to 2019, primarily for the Santa Fe Fuego.
