Beymer, a Hopkinsville, KY native, enters his second season of professional baseball and first with the Otters. After being drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 29th round of the 2019 MLB June Amateur Draft from Wabash Valley College, Beymer elected to continue schooling at Campbell University. In two seasons with the Fighting Camels, he recorded a 51 strikeouts in his 61 innings of work across 25 appearances. In his nine starts, he was 3-3. Following the 2022 season with Campbell, Beymer signed with the Brewers Blue Arizona Complex League team, clocking a 2.25 ERA in his three appearances.
